Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Mary Evans July 25, 2011 Visitation for Mary Evans will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at Greer's Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Greer's Mortuary Chapel. Officiating, Pastor Kevin Berg, with interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery. Mary Suzann "Grandma Sue" Evans, 61, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011 in Winslow, AZ. She was born December 4, 1949 in Chandler, AZ to Elmer and Dorothy Rose. Grandma Sue will be missed by all. She will always be remembered as the grandma to all. There wasn't many activities that she missed when it came to her grandchildren. She was the most giving and caring women known. Anyone could simply make a comment about something they wanted or needed and she would either bake it, sew it, crochet it, or search high and low and get it to them. Besides attending sport and school activities, Sue loved to travel. She was packing her bags that night for her much anticipated "sister vacation". She has traveled many places and sailed the sea's making memories and absorbing the sun rays from all around. Now she is in heaven with her grandson Jaycob, with a lifetime of memories and sending down those sun rays for all to enjoy. Sue is survived by her husband of 19 years, Kenneth Keith Evans, her daughters; Shanna, Rhonda and Tabitha; her son Nathan and her step-son Kenny; her three sisters, Jeannie (Ed), Barbara (Joe), and Marcia (Johnny). The pride and joy of her life was her 12 grandchildren and her one great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson's Jaycob M. Sedillo and Angel and Zachariah Evans.
