Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, August 10, 2011 Jose Rivera, 82, of Chandler, AZ passed away peacefully on August 6, 2011. He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, immigrated in 1954 to Flagstaff where he and his wife Aurelia raised their family. Jose worked 26 years with Coconino County and retired as Director of Buildings and Grounds. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Aurelia Rivera, and survived by his loving children Jose, Armando, Alfredo and Irma, his cherished 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. V iewing will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 3450 W. Ray Rd., Chandler. There will be no graveside service following the mass.
