Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, August 10, 2011 Wayne Blake, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend was a lifelong resident of Globe-Miami and local business owner of Blake and Carpenter Insurance. He was a very kind, patient and caring person who always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed helping others and was actively involved with various organizations in the community including the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and Lions Club. He coached t-league and little league baseball teams and was a Scout Master. He was a Bishop in the LDS church and served as a leader of youth programs within the church. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lillian Blake. Wayne leaves behind in loving memory his wife, Phillis; children, Pamela (Michael) of Seattle, Wash.; Shawna (Dennis) of Globe; Michelle of North Hollywood, Calif.; Scott (Sherese) of Prescott, Ariz. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and three siblings, Joan (Clarence) of Thatcher; Nolan (Linda) and Marilyn Miller of Miami. A visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Miami Miles Mortuary. Services will be held at the L.D.S. Miami Chapel on Saturday, Aug. 13 with visitation at 9 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Pima Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In Lieu of flowers please make any donations to the Globe-Miami Boys and Girls Club at P.O.
