SHIPMAN, Doris

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, August 10, 2011 Doris Louis Shipman, 87, passed away July 30, 2011 in Tucson, Ariz. Doris was born in Washita County, Okla. on March 6, 1924. She married J.V. Shipman from Rock Springs, Texas in 1941. Doris and her family moved to Globe in 1947. Doris was preceded in death by J.V. She leaves behind two sons, Howard (Kathy) Shipman of Tucson and Jim (Marilyn) Shipman of Globe; daughter, Lois (Bob) Gilmartin of Tucson; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Memorial services will be held August 13, 2011 in Tucson, Ariz.
