The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 11, 2011 Ganai Silver Wolfe died peacefully in her home July 14, 2011, in Prescott, Ariz. She was surrounded by her children, her father, her siblings and loved ones. Ganai was born in El Paso, Texas, on June 13, 1958, the daughter of Nick James and Soledad "Shirley" Nabhan. She graduated with the Class of 1976 from Burges High School with honors, a member of the National Honor Society, Amici Chorea and president of Quill and Scroll. She attended El Paso Community College and the University of Texas at El Paso. In 1994, she graduated from ASMT as a licensed massage therapist in Texas. In 1997, Ganai moved to Dallas, Texas, where she resided with her four children. She made Prescott, Ariz., her home in 2002, and celebrated her spiritual rebirth on Feb. 11 of that same year. She was an intuitive reader, artist, writer and storyteller at her place of business, Blue Turtle Island. Ganai was the founder of the "Village News," a newsletter that encompassed everything from what was happening everywhere, literally, around town to community services and sober living support, and included an astrological outlook. She was a loved daughter, sister, mother, friend and soon-to-be grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother Soledad "Shirley" Nabhan and her brother George Hernandez. She is survived by her father, Nick James Nabhan of El Paso, and her loving children Melanie Beth Bishop of Euless, Texas, Jamie Leigh Campbell of Las Vegas, Nev., Matilyn Ann Campbell of Prescott, and son Sonny Ryan Campbell of Prescott. She is also survived by her brothers Tony Hernandez Jr. and wife Francis of Carlsbad, N.M., Dean Patrick Nabhan and wife Cristina of El Paso, Michael James Nabhan of Santa Fe, N.M., and her sister JoAnn Nabhan Bronson and husband Lon of Las Vegas. A celebration of life for Ganai will be on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at the Taj Mahal Restaurant, located on 124 N.
