The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/12/2011 Jose Jesus Ortiz Dominguez died Aug. 4, 2011, in Show Low. He was born Aug. 20, 1949, to Francisco Ortiz and Rita Dominguez. Jose grew up living in Chihuahua, Mexico for 38 years and then moved to Lakeside and lived there for 24 years. He was a member of the Catholic Church He was survived by his wife, Lucila Ortiz of three years; his father, Francisco Ortiz of Nicolas Bravo, Mexico; his mother, Rita Dominquez of Mexico; three sons: Francisco Eduardo Ortiz of Lakeside, Jesus Armando Ortiz of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Jose Guadalupe Ortiz Bencomo of Lakeside; grandparents: Pablo and Luz Ortiz of Mexico; brothers: Tono Ortiz of Mexico, Francisco Ortiz of Calif., and Pablo Ortiz of Mexico; sisters: Manuela Ortiz Dominquez, Atocha Ortiz, Maria De La Luz Ortiz, and Chayo Ortiz all of Mexico; and eight grandchildren A Rosary was held Sunday, Aug. 7, and mass of Christian burial Monday, Aug. 8.
