Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Aug. 12 to Aug. 19, 2011 - Carla Jean (Pfeil) Covey, age 68, a 25-year resident of Bullhead City and Fort Mohave, Ariz., passed suddenly on to her new life eternal, Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at home. She was born June 13, 1943, in Sidney, Nebraska. Carla touched and affected everybody's lives that she came across in her life. If she felt someone was in need, she reached out to them whether she had anything herself or not. Her laughter was contagious, even if you didn't know what she was laughing at. Her family, friends and church were her life and she wanted everyone to know, we haven't lost her, we know exactly where she's at! Carla is survived by her husband of 25 years, James (Frank) Covey; son, Allen (Renee) Lewis; three daughters, Laurie (Ricky) King, Julie (Scott) Schoeppner and Leslie Babcock; two sisters, Darlene Hayes and Sharon (Charlie) Wilson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Amazing Grace Fellowship, 4195 Lynn Dr., Fort Mojave, Ariz.
