The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, August 13, 2011 Edward DeClements, 69, passed away in Sarasota, Fla., on Aug. 7, 2011. He was born on Aug. 11, 1941, in Chicago, Ill. Edward and Sheila celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last September. He is also survived by his five children, Marjorie Chavez of Peoria, Ariz., Edward (Bud) Jr. and Deborrah of Meyersville, Texas, Anna DeAlejandro and Arnold, Jeannette Pelosi and Chris, and Lynnel DeClements; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Francis Moody of Orland Park, Ill.; his sister Carol McDowell of Bridgeview, Ill., and brother Frank DeClements of Boston, Mass. Edward was preceded in death by his brother Russell DeClements of Florida. He was formerly a resident of Paulden, Ariz., and Schererville, Ind. Edward retired after 41 years of service for Otis Elevators in 2000. A celebration of his life will be held on Aug. 26 at Sarasota Alliance Church in Sarasota, Fla. Visitation will be 5 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, Ariz. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the funeral home.
