BARON, Parker Constantine


Daily Courier, Prescott, AZ October 22, 1996 Parker Baron Parker Constantine Baron, 85, a life-long resident of Arizona, died Friday, Oct. 18, 1996, in Prescott. He was born Jan. 11, 1922 in Parker, Ariz., to Jack and Marie (Warlop) Baron. Mr. Baron served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was founder, owner and operator of the Tufa Tavern and Garage in Kirkland Junction. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Ellen Baron of Kirkland; stepson, Tom Young of Peoria; sisters, Alice Leffingwell of Prescott, Dona Whitehead of Walnut Grove, Calif., and Dora Wilson of Sacramento, Calif., brother, Dr. Hiram Leffingwell of Sacramento, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Skull Valley Cemetery in Skull Valley. Chaplain Gerald Beilstein will officiate.
