CANADA, Ama Bryant

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, August 16, 2011 Ama Bryant Canada, 72, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Prescott. He was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Vardaman, Miss., to Hubert and Pearlene Canada. Bryant is retired from the U.S. Air Force and a Vietnam veteran. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Canada of Prescott; his son, Sean Canada of Alamosa, Colo.; his daughter, Steffanie Bowen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and five grandchildren. He was a wonderful friend and a loving husband and father. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at the Prescott VA Chapel.
