Arthur Dunham passed away in Lake Havasu City, Aug. 2, 2011 at age 62. He was born to James and Mary (Allen) Dunham Nov. 15, 1948, in Stonewall, Texas.
Arthur served under the direction of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving three Bronze Service stars. On Aug. 22, 1998, he married his beloved bride, Wendy Mae Jones, after courting her for 11 years. Arthur enjoyed fishing and going to the casino across the river, but being with his family was most important to him. He also enjoyed collecting guns and lots of fishing poles.
Arthur leaves behind his beloved wife of 24 years, Wendy Forman-Dunham, of Lake Havasu; sons, Arthur, of Lake Havasu, and Dustin, of Sacramento, Calif; daughter, Harmony, of Lake Havasu; brothers, Pide, of Texas, Huck, of Phoenix, and Doc, of Texas; one sister, Billy Sue; and three grandchildren.
A celebration of Arthur’s life will held be at Lietz-Fraze Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Richard Rounds will offer words of comfort and inspiration, and VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81 will present full military honors.
