The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/19/2011 Lucy Ireta Burnett, wife of William Earl Burnett, died Aug. 11, 2011, in Kirtland, N.M. She was born June 6, 1939, in Pie Town, N.M. to James Monroe Hastings and Eda Gertrude Phillips. She is survived by her loving husband, William Earl Burnett, and a posterity of 145. (19 children, step-children and spouses, 82 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren). She is also survived by her brother, Roy Hastings. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Benjamin LaVon Burnett, her parents, and six siblings. A visitation for Ireta will be held Monday, Aug.15, from 5-7 p.m. at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute Street, Farmington, N.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Road 6100, Kirtland, N.M.
