DUNLAP, Modesto (Lucky), Jr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/19/2011 Modesto "Lucky" Dunlap, Jr. died Aug. 14, 2011. Modesto was born Dec. 4, 1978, in Phoenix. He lived his whole life in the Whiteriver area. He loved the outdoors and was a firefighter. He was a great dad to his children and step-children. He is survived by his wife, Sharmaine, of Canyon Day; sons: Michael Dunlap of Whiteriver, Mason Dunlap of Canyon Day, step-sons Zeven and Furious Declay; step-daughter, Danshell Declay, sisters: Michelle Dunlap, Maureen Dunlap, Marlena Dunlap, and Mary Dunlap, Harriet Green, all of Whiteriver; brother Morall Dunlap of Whiteriver, and his parents Modesto, Sr. and Susie Dunlap of Whiteriver. He was preceded in death by brother Michael Dunlap, and niece Angel Dunlap. A wake will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at the family home in Canyon Day. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at the Canyon Day Miracle Church. Interment will follow at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Black's Show Low Mortuary handled arrangements.
