Baker Funeral services were held Monday morning of this week at the First Baptist Church in Congress for Robert Charles Baker, age 55, a resident of Torrence, Calif., who lived for a number of years in the early 1950's in Congress. He died June 22 at his home in Torrence following an extended illness. The Rev. Wallis Schmidt conducted the final rites and burial took place in the Congress Cemetery. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Hershkowitz of Congress; a son and daughter living in California; a sister, Mrs. Belle Deck of Congress and brother-in-law Harry Hershkowitz, Wickenburg, also one granddaughter.
