Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 17, 1967 James Riley Phillips Funeral services for James Riley Phillips, well known rancher-cattleman of the Morristown area, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Wickenburg Cemetery with graveside rites by the Wickenburg Elks Lodge of which he was a popular member and former officer. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday. Mr. Phillips died August 14 in Community Hospital here where he had been admitted August 11. He was born March 13, 1911 in Rodeo, N.M., and had lived in Arizona many years. He was foreman on the Desert Hills Cattle Co., near Morristown owned by Mrs. Irene Evans at the time of his death. Efforts were being made to contact Mrs. Evans who is on a trip to Alaska. Mr. Phillips is survived by two sisters, Pearl Brandon of Globe, Ariz., and Ruby Snyder of Radcliffe, Ark., also two nieces and seven nephews.
