Samuel Franklin Crozier
Friends and relatives are sad and grieved at the passing of Samuel Franklin Crozier last Tuesday evening, August 22, at his home on South Tegner Street. His wife and his brother were with him when the end came.
Commonly, known as “Frank,” Mr. Crozier ws highly regarded by all who knew him. He was born in Mohave County, October 25, 1886 at the old homestead founded by his parents, and still known as the “Old Crozier Ranch,” some 40 years he spent in the cattle business (both in Arizona and Colorado) moving to Wickenburg in 1946, where he had lived ever since, owning and operating at the Rosebank Apartments. His first wife, Lottie Grounds Crozier, passed away four years ago.
Survivors include the widow, Alice Crozier; one brother and two sisters, J. B. Crozier, Mrs. George Miller, and Mrs. W.F. Grounds, all of the Kingman area; there children, James C. Crozier of Bellevue, Wash.; Mrs. Dorothy Safley of Prescott, and Mrs. I.L. McElliott of Los Angeles, Calif., also, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Cremation was arranged by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
