CARROLL, Cyrus C.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 14, 1967 Cyrus C. Carroll World has just been received her of the death of Cyrus C. Carroll, a former resident, which occurred July 23 at the Mercy Hospital in Laredo, O., after a short stay there. He was 87 years of age. He lived in Wickenburg until about 2½ years ago when he moved to Scottsdale. While residing here he built the Carroll Apartments on Center Street at the Overpass which are now known as the Western Apartments. He was a native of Swansboro, N.C., a veteran of the Spanish American War and had been an engineer for a Cleveland, O., industrial plant before moving to Wickenburg. Surviving are three daughter, two sisters, two step-daughter, one brother, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Mathis, O., with burial in the cemetery there.
