Born in Bellfountain, Ohio, Mr. Franks lived in California before moving to Salome in 1948. He worked as a carpenter and prospector. He is survived by his wife Jennie and son Ted, Los Angeles; also three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers and a sister, out of state. Services were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Wickenburg Funeral Home and burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
