LAVENDOL, Lawrence

The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on August 21, 2011 - Lawrence "Larry" Lavendol "McKenna," 44, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011. Born in New York, Larry moved to Arizona in 1988 and recently resided in Kingman and Glendale. Larry was a former Master Instructor at Traditional Hung Gar Academy where he taught Southern Shaolin Boxing and Chinese Lion Dance. He is survived by his wife, Greta Lavendol; daughter, Jessica Lavendol; sons, Larry Lavendol Jr. and Brandon Lavendol; granddaughter, Luciella "Lucy" Lavendol; father, Thomas Lavendol; and sister, Sheri Lavendol. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and all around good guy. His passion for the Chinese culture, teaching, music, cooking and motorcycles will be greatly missed by all.
