VAN BUSKIRK, Byron

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 2, 1967 Byron Van Buskirk Memorial services were held at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Monday afternoon for Byron B. Van Buskirk, age 66, a resident of Wickenburg for the past year and one-half, who died October 28 in Community Hospital here. The Rev. Scott Siegle conducted the service and cremation followed. Mr. Van Buskirk came to Wickenburg in February, 1966, following his retirement as Deputy County Assessor in Riverside County, California. He lived in California 10 years, moving there from his native Indiana where he was born in Fortville February 26, 1901. He survived by his wife Lorain; a son Ralph recently discharged from the service and living in Wickenburg; two other sons, Dale I of Globe, Ariz., and George A. of San Jose, Calif., and a daughter Mrs. Ilo E. Hite of Huntington, Ind. Five grandchildren also survive.
