Joe Kaufman Passes Away Wednesday

Joe Kaufman, about 70 years old, passed away in a Phoenix hospital Wednesday afternoon according to word which reached here Thursday morning.  He had been in ill health for quite some time.

Mr. Kaufman (Joe to everyone) resided in Wickenburg fifteen or more years where he engaged in the carpenter business.

The Glendale Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements which were incomplete at this writing.  No known relatives survive him, it was stated.
