VAN WINKLE, Orville

Wickenburg SUN, Wickenburg, Arizona September 4, 1942 Youth is killed in Auto Wreck A collision between an automobile and a truck loaded with scrap iron, about eleven miles southeast of here, Tuesday, brought death to Orville Van Winkle, 18 years old, Alamogordo, New Mexico, and injuries to two other persons, Mrs. Addie Borden Long, 17, Long Beach and Dorman Bell, 18, Alamogordo. The truck driver, Winston Neely, 21, of Phoenix and three passengers in Van Winkle's car, John Collins, Jr. Mrs. Florence Brock and her 5 year old daughter, Elma Lee, all of Alamogordo were uninjured.
