Death Claims W. Int-Haut – Military Funeral Is Held Here Wednesday.
Military funeral services were conducted here at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday for William Int-Haut, age 65, who had resided 8 miles southeast of town, and just north of the Phx. highway for the past several years. He passed away early Sunday morning following a heart attack. Mr. Int-Haut had been in ill health since coming to this community from Friday Harbor, Washington, shortly after his retirement as owner for many years of a telephone system in that section. He was a veteran of World War I.
The funeral was held at the Wickenburg chapel with Rev. Charles A. Surber officiating. Alvin Rees, chaplain of the American Legion post here, officiated at the burial in Wickenburg Cemetery, with members of the post serving as pall bearers. The post also provided the color guard and color bearers, firing squad and bugler.
Mr. Int-Haut is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Int-Haut; a sister, Della Int-Haut who is a traveling nurse in the back country of Kentucky, and two brothers, West of Oakglen, Ill., where Mr. Int-Haut was born, and Adam of Chicago.
