Sally Lyles Rites Held in Prescott
A telephone call early Tuesday morning form Champie Ranch proprietor Frank Carson at Castle Hot Springs to Wickenburg Policeman G.W. Wallace brought the sad news that Sally Lyles, 21-year-old Wickenburg girl, had been found dead that morning on the bathroom floor of her quarters at the ranch where she was employed. Mr. Wallace notified her father and step-mother, Col. And Mrs. Joe Lyles, who live in a trailer just off the Vulture Mine road about two miles from town.
David Palmer, Yavapai County Attorney, said a vial of poison was on a shelf nearby and an empty glass lay near her hand. Her father says she had a rheumatic heat.
Funeral services were held at the Ruffners Funeral Home in Prescott Thursday followed by cremation.
