Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 23, 1951 Jack Ahrens’ Mother passes away in Illinois where services are held Lorence (Jack) Ahrens, Sr., left Monday with Mrs. Ahrens and their son Lorence, Jr., for Harvey, Ill., to attend the funeral of Mr. Ahrens’ mother, Mrs. Myrtle Ahrens, 73, died in that city Sunday evening. Surviving in addition to the Wickenburg man, are the following children; Richard Ahrens of Glendale, who also attended the services; Mrs. Verna Helms of Prescott; Mrs. Jacob DeBok of Dalton, Ill.; Emerson Ahrens of Kankakee, Ill.; and Mrs. Vera Christenson of Miami, Fla.
