The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, December 03, 2008 Geradine C. Card, 93, passed away Nov. 29, 2008, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. She was born June 2, 1915, in Oneida, N.Y., the daughter of Gerald and Theodora (Vanderheuvel) Kooiman. Geradine is survived by her children, Barbara Johnson of Dawsonville, Ga., Maynard Card of Cottonwood, Ariz., Dennis Card of Richford, N.Y., and Tymendra Ackley of Prescott, Ariz.; and her sister Arlene Valentine of Candor, N.Y. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Commemoration services in honor of Geradine will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at Open Door Baptist Church, 8451 E. Stevens Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz. Heritage Memory Mortuary of Prescott, Ariz., assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
