Joe was born on June 14, 1945 in Mammoth to Joseph and Eva (Buzan) Kerlock. Joe was employed for over 32 years at ASARCO as a Boilermaker and then as a supervisor upon his retirement. He served in the United States Navy as a Sea bee and served in the Vietnam War. For many years Joe raised cattle and enjoyed being a rancher. He also enjoyed growing a bountiful garden of fruits, vegetables and chilis.
Joe is survived by his wife: Sylvia Kerlock of Dudleyville; children Mona Kerlock and Melissa Kerlock, both of Globe, Paul (Elena) Mariscal of Tucson, and Mario (Linda) Mariscal and Gina (Randy) Laughlin, both of Winkelman; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva (the late Manuel) Rivera of Hayden, Mary (Othon) Villegas of Winkelman and the late Anna (Frank) Cobo; and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Services for Mr. Kerlock were held Friday, Aug. 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hayden.
