MARTIN, William (Marty) H.

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, August 24, 2011 William “Marty” H. Martin was born March 12, 1938 in Bellingham, Wash. He lost his fight with cancer and passed away peacefully at home at the age of 73. He was a loving husband to Geraldine for nearly 49 years. Several years into retirement, Marty and Geri moved to Wickenburg to be near relatives Uncle Roy and Aunt Pauline Kingery and cousins Rande, Ashley and Dennis Kingery. He is survived by his wife Geri; daughters Heather Martin of Elk Grove, Calif., and Elizabeth Goodman of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; brother Jimmy Martin of Spokane, Wash.; and a host of friends and family. Marty was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Juanita. Many thanks to Hospice of the Valley for their kind care. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Sacramento, Calif., area.
