Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, August 24, 2011 Oweita Young, age 86 of Central Heights passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011. She was born on Feb. 2, 1925, in Ringling, Okla., the daughter of Beulah (Gregory) and Jim McEntire. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis D. Young; one son, Lyndon R. Tahoe; one grandson, Randy Mink; one brother, R.J. McEntire; and one sister, Ida Mae Keefe. Oweita leaves behind in loving memory three daughters, Patricia Ann Mink, Nancy Ann Lee of Texas and Kay Estelle of Texas; one brother, Edward McEntire of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Frances Keenon of Miami, Ariz. and Betty Ruth (Don) Hickman of Davis, Okla.; two grandsons, Samuel Legler of Central Heights, Ariz. and Sonny Lee of Midland, Texas; five great grandchildren, Jessica (Stratton) Gore of Globe, Ariz., Steffani (Danny) Keaster of Apache Junction, Ariz., Randi Mink of Mesa, Ariz., Anthony Fuller and Adam Fuller both of Phoenix; and six great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lower Miami, 3654 E. Gordon Street, in Miami, Ariz. Interment will be at Mt. Breeze Memorial Gardens, Miami, Ariz. A potluck will follow at First Baptist Church of Lower Miami Fellowship Hall. Funeral arrangements for Oweita Young were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami.
