Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 4, 1952 Arthur A. Evarts, Cora Aldous’ Uncle Summoned Last Sunday. Mrs. Cora Aldous received word early this week of the death of her uncle, Arthur A. Evarts, which occurred July 29 at his home in Dallas, Tex. Mr. Evarts, who was 84 years of age, was president of the well known Arthur A. Evarts jewelry Store in Dallas. He was active in the civic life of Dallas, was a Rotarian, a charter member of the Bonehead Club, one of the country’s most unique organizations, and served at one time as president of the National Jewelers’ Association. Mr. Evarts was quite well known in the Wickenburg area. He made several visits her and spent the summer of 1942 in Wickenburg. Immediate survivors include a son, Myron Evarts, and a grandson, Frank Evarts, both of Dallas, and a married daughter resident in Houston, Tex.
