Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 1, 1952 Funeral Rites Were Monday for Harry B. White, 79, Father of L.C. White, who died in Phoenix July 24. Funeral services were held in the Central Methodist Church at Phoenix Monday morning for Harry B. White, father of L.C. (Bob) White of Wickenburg. Dr. Charles S. Kendall pastor of the church officiated. The 79-year-old man died at his home in Phoenix July 24 after an illness of three months. Mr. White was born in Washington D.C. where he was a teacher for 45 years in the McKinley High School in that city. Upon his retirement 15 years ago he moved to Phoenix. Surviving are the widow and five children: Harold (Luke) White, manager of the Phoenix Country Club, John White of New York City; Mrs. L. Meade Hammond of Washington D.C.; Mrs. Walter Kirch of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Bob White of Wickenburg. Two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Evans and Mrs. Ella Klopfer, both of Washington, also survive.
