Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 1, 1968 Albert Murray Kellis-Draper Post of the American Legion and the Rev. W. Howard Blazer of the First Presbyterian Church conducted graveside services at the Wickenburg Cemetery Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock for Albert Murray. A long time miner in the Bradshaw mining district, Mr. Murray died at his home on his mine out the Constellation Road December 18 during the storm which swept over most of Arizona. It is believed over exertion, in attempting to dig his car out of the snow, contributed to his death. He was born March 19, 1902 in Floresville, Tex., and was brought to the Globe, Ariz., area when a child. He had lived and mined in this region for the past 15 years. Mr. Murray was a veteran of World War I and a member of the local Legion Post. He is survived by a son Dale A. Murray of Apache Wells, Ariz.; a brother, Arthur W. Murray of Dallas, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Olla Joplin, Lordsburg, N.M.; Mrs. Floyd Jones, Breckenridge, Tex.; Mrs. Merle Margie, Cuero, Tex., and Mrs. James Hogan, St. David, Ariz. A granddaughter, Mrs. Karen Kill, Van Nuys, Calif., also survives.
