Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 11, 1968 Eldon E. Martin Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday for Eldon Edward Martin, a resident of Wickenburg for nearly eight years, who died January 5 shortly after being taken to Community Hospital suffering from a heart attack. Dr. Charles S. Poling came here from Phoenix to preach the funeral sermon in the Wickenburg Funeral Home with the Masonic Lodge in charge of arrangements. Mr. Martin was born March 9, 1907 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Upon retiring in 1960 he and his wife Edna moved to Wickenburg. Less than a year ago they occupied their new home off the Vulture Mine Road southwest of town. In Grand Rapids Mr. Martin owned and operated Martin’s Photo Service for 11 years. Later he owned and operated the Beef – Bun restaurant in the same city. Mr. Martin was a Past Master of Doric Masonic Lodge No. 342, F. & A. M., Saladin Temple of the Shrine and DeWitt Consistory, R.A.M., all in Grand Rapids. In Wickenburg he was affiliated with Hassayampa Chapter No. 35, Order of Eastern Star. He is survived by his wife, his father, James E. Martin of St. Petersburg, Fla., and a brother Orville E. Martin of Yucaipa, Calif.
