The “Memorial Service” Sunday at the First Baptist Church for Rufus Brown, Albert Nowlin and Walter Foster was well attended. Mrs. Nowlin and Mrs. Foster still maintain their winter homes here. Mrs. Brown now lives in Prescott. Among the many out of town friends were Mrs. Eva Hatcher and Carol Wells of Clark Fork, Idaho; the Orin Hansons of Princeton, Minn.; the Basil Goodys of Sand Point, Idaho; the Dan Smiths of Chandler; the Earl Clicks of Prescott; the Wilbur Fleenors of Wickenburg; the Joe Plossers of Aguila and Miss Maurine Sanborn of Stanton. The three widows are very grateful to Pastor Wally Schmidt and the church member for the lovely service. A beautiful picture was presented to the church in memory of their husbands by Mrs. Brown, Nowlin and Foster.
