MILES, Fayoma Isalene

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, August 23, 2011 - Fayoma Isalene Miles, 93, went home Aug. 19, 2011. She was born April 20, 1918, in Kennett, Mo., to Sylvester and Mary Williams. Fayoma grew up in and raised her family in Flint, Mich. She was a follower of Jesus and attended Lakeview Community Church. She was also a member of the VFW auxiliary and the Michigan Education Association. Fayoma was a secretary at Goodrich High School in her working years. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Fayoma is survived by her son, Robert Miles; daughter, Marsha Farrell; grandchildren, Luana Luna and Tammy Donnelly; great-grandchildren, Briana Luna, Daniel Brasket Donnelly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colin Miles; and her daughter, Janice. Funeral Services will be at Lakeview Community Church, 1699 West Acoma Blvd., LHC. AZ. 86403 Sunday, at 3 p.m., with Pastor Dale Ray officiating. Interment and graveside services will be held at Flint Memorial Park in Mount Morris, Mich., Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
