Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, August 24, 2011 - Joseph F. Smith passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 in Lake Havasu City at age 59. He was born Sept. 27, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA. Joseph retired from the U.S. Army, after serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was an easygoing, wonderful guy who was good to everybody. Joseph had a great, big heart. Joseph leaves behind his son, Sean Smith, of Michigan; sister, Joan Eidie, of California; best friends and adopted family, Arthur and Debra Vance and their children, Michelle and A.J. He was preceded in death by his mother, Madlyn Ann Oster. Thoughts and condolences can be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
