The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/26/2011 Myrna Louise Sherwood, 76, long-time resident of Springerville died Aug. 19, 2011, in Phoenix. She was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Eagar, the daughter of Lester and LaVern LeSueur Wiltbank. She worked as a home health care aide for Apache County before retirement. Myrna was well-known and loved and will be missed dearly. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She loved to bake, quilt, and go for rides with the grandkids and her sisters. She is survived by her sons: Michael Q. Sherwood of Richville, and Robbie Sherwood of Mesa; daughters: Debra Gillespie of Eagar, Donna Sherwood of Phoenix, and Julie Sherwood of Phoenix; brother Gary B. Wiltbank of Eagar; sister Judy M. Wiltbank of Springerville; five grandchildren: Angie, Stacey, Michael, Ian, and Ryan; and two great-grandchildren: Heather and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Jeanne Keno and Carla Nelson; and brother, Dwain Wiltbank. A funeral service was held Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Springerville Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Springerville. Interment was held at the Eagar Cemetery.
