The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/26/2011 In loving memory of Bessie Gass entered into rest Aug. 19, 2011, in Show Low. She was born Jan. 17, 1926, in East Fork. Bessie is remembered and loved by her daughter, Orita Billy; sons: Tilford Gass, Orson Gass, Alfred Gass; grandchildren: Jimmie Elvis Clendon, Randy Aday; great-grandchildren: Denzel Mason Clendon from Lawrence, Kan., Presley Joe Clendon, Byllye Jo Clendon from Lawrence, Kan.; Chenell Aday, Angelo Aday, Jimberly Clendon; aunts: Mary Jane Clendon, Millie Gloshay, Julia Bennett, Alice Bennett; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by Josephine Gass, Arrison Gass, Billy Joe Clendon and Oliver Dewayne Gass. Home funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the family home in East Fork, with Pastor Gary Lupe officiating. Interment will be at the Dove St. Cemetery in East Fork. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
