CALHOUN, Penny (Maudie)

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Aug. 26 to Sept. 2, 2011 Penny "Maudie" Calhoun, age 90, a part-time resident of Golden Shores/Topock area for many years, went to heaven, Tuesday, August 16, 2011, in Mojave, Calif. She was born September 16, 1920, in Herrin, Ill. Penny was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Bob Calhoun, and youngest son, George Pengilley. Precious mother to three children, Dick, Bob and Patty Pengilley; adored grandmother to 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the VFW Rosamond Post 9657, 20th Street W. and El Rey, Rosamond, Calif.
