HANCOCK, Diana Jean

Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Diana Jean Hancock (March 8, 1935 - August 19, 2011) Diana Hancock was at home and peaceful when she passed from this life on Friday, August 19, 2011. Born the youngest child of Charles and Ruby Heard and March 8, 1935, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Velvadine Edwards and Merilyn Hancock. She is survived by her Loving Husband Harry Hancock, children Lissa Hammit of Albuquerque and Brent Hammit of Phoenix.. Aunt Diana married Harry Hancock in 1993 and became second mother to Charlie and Peggy Hancock, Elaine and Marshall Larsen, Joe and Leonie Hancock, Mathew and Kaye Ricks, John and Maria Hancock and Maury and Virginia Hatch. She is loved and missed by them and dozens of great and great-grandchildren, who know her as grandma Di. Services were held Tuesday morning, August 23, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Winslow Stake center. Interment was in the desert View Cemetery, Winslow Arizona.
