Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, August 31, 2011 Harriet Horstman Lewis was born March 20, 1925 in Iona, MN, and the good Lord and Harriet were ready and she was finally called home on August 28, 2011. She and her first husband, Jack Horstman, raised four children: Michael (David), Patrice (Lulu), Shelly McAlpin (John), and Tamerin and made their home in Edina, MN. She was also blessed with six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The warm temperatures and snowless winters of the Southwest beckoned her away from the Northland and she spent the last 30 years of her life in Phoenix, AZ. She married her second husband Louis Lewis and together they travelled, danced and enjoyed many years together. She was loved by anyone who had the pleasure of spending even a few minutes in her company. She collected many loyal and loving friends and "adopted children"-all, who together with her family, will keep her memory close to their hearts. Her family, in celebration of her life, requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Grace Hospice, 4515 South McClintock Dr. #210,Tempe, AZ 85282 or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
