BEERE, Anne Pauline

(Maiden Name: Coleman)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, August 30, 2011 Anne Pauline Beere March 6, 1935 - August 28, 2011 Anne Pauline Beere, age 76, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away Aug. 28, 2011, at the Autumn Seasons Assisted Living Home in Prescott Valley. Anne was born March 6, 1935, in Nottingham, England, to Alan James and Blanche Beddoe Coleman. She was educated in England, finishing her schooling at a secretary college in London. In 1952, she met her husband-to-be, Anthony (Tony) Beere, and they were married in 1956, spending 55 wonderful years together. They had two children, Russell (born 1958) and Julie (born 1960). In 1964, the family immigrated to the United Stated and lived in San Jose and Sunnyvale for the next 34 years before moving to Prescott Valley in 1998. Anne loved crafts, and she organized a craft class in Victorian Estates. Many local charities benefited from their work. Anne's first love, though, was her love of animals. She was a kind, loving person, but if you abused an animal, "Watch out"! Elephants were her favorites and she did what she could to get them out of circuses. They were never meant to perform and be chained. This was her passion. Anne is survived by her husband; son; daughter; two grandchildren; and two brothers. She will be loved and remembered. Any donations to her memory should be sent to an animal organization of your choice. A Celebration of Life is pending. Please visit her online guestbook at www.sunrisefuneralhome.com. Information provided by survivors.
