Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Friday, September 2, 2011 - Sharon Yvonne Riddle May 25, 1941— Aug. 30, 2011 Sharon Yvonne Riddle passed away in Lake Havasu City Tuesday at age 70. She was born May 25, 1941, to Walter and Lucille Otte in Atchison, Kan. Sharon made her home in Lake Havasu City from 1994 to 2001, and again from 2009 to 2011. She was a member of the Elkettes, American Legion Auxiliary, Havasu Good Sam RV Club and other Red Hat Clubs in Havasu. She was a woman who loved people and never met a stranger. Her favorite hobbies were playing bingo, travel with RV and friends and cards with friends. She enjoyed doing things for others. She had many dinners for the senior citizens in her hometown in Kansas. She will now be playing with the angels who I am sure will love her as much as those of us here on earth did. She will be missed by all. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Ellis Riddle; four stepchildren, Rebecca (Davie) Kean, Sonja (Keith) Ottaway/Ottlinger, Mark (Marcie) Riddle and Scott Riddle; grandchildren, Brent Ottaway, Kira Ottaway, Andrea Kean, Derek Kean, Charisse Riddle, Julia Riddle, Leslie Riddle, Marissa Riddle, Ethannie Riddle and Darius Riddle; one great-grandson, Axle Eugene Ottaway; mother, Lucille Otte; sister, Betty Jamison/Sowers; and brother, Allen Otte. She was preceded in death by a son, Darrin; and her father, Walter Otte. A Celebration of Life will be Sept. 8, at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Methodist Church, 430 N. Eunice, El Dorado, Kansas 67042. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to go in Sharon’s memory to St. Michael’s United Methodist Church, 2895 S. Jamaica Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406.
