The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/02/2011 Jacqueline Harris, 81, died Aug, 28, 1930, in Pahrump, Nev. She was born April 8, 1930, in Omak, Wash. Jacqueline lived in Torrence, Calif. before she moved to Pahrump in 1997. She was a homemaker, a member of the South Bay Bird Club, TWA Retirees Association. She enjoyed sewing, reading, taking care of birds and wildlife, and caring for her children and children's activities when they were growing up. She loved to travel, meeting and talking to people. "If you met her for more than five minutes you'd love her." She married Conway Harris in 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by her children: Toni Lynn (Bent) Aaquist, Denyce Gusha (Art Swift Sr.); grandchildren: Michael Helvey Jr., Conlin Helvey, Vienna Gusha, Jeremiah Gusha, Jacquelyn Wagner, Victoria Swift, Arthur Swift, Jr.; three great-grandchildren; brother Gail Reifers, sister-in-law Jo Harris; and close friend Angela Brandolino. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel.
