Ruby Gardner McHood died Sept. 1, 2011, in Mesa. She was born Sept. 16, 1913, in Snowflake. 

A funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m. in the Winslow LDS Stake Center, Kinsley & Lee in Winslow. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Norvel Owens Mortuary is handling arrangements.
