HERNANDEZ, Beatrice (Bea)

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Saturday, September 03, 2011 Beatrice Hernandez previously of Jerome, AZ, owner of Kiddy’s Korner, lost her valiant fight with cancer on August 25. Bea was an inspiration to those who met her. We all knew Bea as a gallant warrior and highly knowledgeable of her disease, fighting hard to win. Bea cared about those she met and would lend a helping hand. She encouraged so many in their aspirations and dreams. Bea gave so much to so many, to have known her was to have loved her. Though we will miss her terribly, she’ll forever remain close in our hearts and memories. Bea is survived by her husband of 51 years Filomeno, sons Steven (Barbara), and Phillip, daughter Kristi, sisters Ana Marie and Martha (Gary), grandchildren, Amanda, David and Kevin and many loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Sacred Heart Church, Covina, CA followed by a celebration of her life.
