JOHNSON, Meryln Roy

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, September 03, 2011 Merlyn Roy Johnson was born into this world with a bang on July 4, 1945, to Annabelle and Charles Johnson in Whatcom County, Wash. Determined to fight the cancer and live through one more birthday, which he did, Merlyn passed at the young age of 66 on Aug. 31, 2011. Merlyn had seven brothers and sisters, Dave, Ruby, Larry, Sharlotte, Becky, Shannon and Arnie. Merlyn married Cheryl in 1970 and had three beautiful children, Darlene, Karen and Darrell. Merlyn remarried in 1985 to Kathleen. Merlyn worked at Safeway #245 on Willow Creek Road for 16 years. He helped many customers out with their groceries and always had a big smile. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, sister Sharlotte and his son Darrell. Merlyn donated himself to Science Care. We would life to thank all the friends who visited, and Hospice Family Care and Autumn Seasons for all their wonderful care.
