The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Tuesday, September 06, 2011 Sonia Ann Morris, 33 years old, of Cottonwood, AZ passed away unexpectedly in her home, Wed, August 31st, 2011. She was born September 4th, 1977 in Smithville, Mo. She attended schools in CA and AZ. She was passionate about being a helpful friend, she was outgoing and loved animals. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and drawing. She loved being a mother. She is survived by her loving family; children Mike Joy, Ahchana and Drew Nez along with her 3 step-children; Galadriel, Gweniviere, Orion Nez; her mother Olga Morris, step-father Dr. Marvin Colvin of Cottonwood; her sisters Cara Brind of PA and Lisa Morris of AZ; her step brothers Marc and Corey Colvin of Flagstaff.
