MAERZ, Florence Dorothy

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, September 07, 2011 Florence Dorothy Maerz went home to be with the Lord, who was her light and salvation, on Sept. 4, 2011. She was born on March 31, 1931, in Mosinee, Wis. She was 80. Florence married her husband, Chris, on Oct. 18, 1974, and was employed as an executive secretary for the Suburban Hospital in Hinsdale, Ill. The loving couple relocated in 1996 to Prescott after exploring different locales to reside after retirement. A woman who was known by her soft spirit and gentle laughter will be missed by all who loved and knew her. She is survived by her husband, Chris; daughter Lisa Clayborn; and two grandchildren. The Rosary will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at Heritage Memory Mortuary in Prescott with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
