The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, November 20, 2008 Deloris M. Beach, 77, of Cottonwood, died Nov. 18, 2008, in Cottonwood. She was born Jan. 12, 1932, in McPherson, Kan. , the daughter of James and Lavon Simpson. She was a volunteer at the Humane Society for many years. She loved animals and of course her family. She made baby blankets for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Howard Beach; her sons, Richard Mills (Cindy) of Cottonwood and John Mills (Debbie) of Idaho; a daughter, Patty McBride (Tom) of Cottonwood; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Westcott Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Verde Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 1429, Cottonwood AZ 86326.
